Genie 50th Anniversary Celebration

Genie celebrated their 50-year milestone anniversary with a special event for their valued customers.

As a part of their ”50 years of building the future” anniversary campaign, Genie celebrated their momentous 50-year milestone with a customer appreciation event, inviting customers from around the globe.

To appeal to both a domestic and international audience, an “experiential” venue, Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP) was selected to highlight the city of Seattle. Adding to the local experience, the attendees took the iconic Monorail, traveling from their hotel, the Westin Seattle, to MoPOP. To build excitement, the Monorail route was branded with event posters and a walking path lined with “Genie blue” balloons and staff to guide guests to the celebration.

Genie featured several of their iconic aerial lifts as a part of the event décor. The latest model lift was featured outside the venue, in addition to one stationed in the entry way and another placed on the party room floor. The venue’s high ceilings allowed us to showcase the lifts in these unique, unexpected locations. As a bonus, the lifts doubled as great photo opportunities for attendees.

The evening offered guests a multi-sensory experience. An interactive performance was built within the event space, as acrobatic and aerialists acts performers weaved around and above guests. The event featured a cake cutting ceremony and a toast by the President of Genie, which came with an unexpected twist: as “champagne” fairies dropped from the ceiling to fill guests’ glasses, delighting Genie’s valued customers and creating a truly memorable moment.
